Waipu and Mangawhai fish off to win the Mangawhai Challenge Cup, and the bragging rights that go with it.
Waipu were the winners last year and earned the right to host the competition in 2020. 2 heaviest snapper per club to win.
Weigh in at Waipu Clubroom at 1530 hrs on Saturday 19th September.

The Waipu Boat and Fishing Club sits on the banks of the Waipu River, where Nova Scotia Drive bridges the river.
We promote safe boating, and sport and leisure fishing in Waipu and the greater Northland area.
We run events during the year; including club fishing competitions, our popular "Take a Kid Fishing", social get-togethers, and the hotly contested Mangawhai versus Waipu club challenge.
We love fishing and everyone's welcome to become a club member.
